To locate which wire carries the signal for the tail/running lights, remove the taillight assembly as if you were replacing a burned out bulb. I have a good solution for you but unfortunately the Upright Roof Bike Carrier part # S64720 that you referenced can not be keyed to use the same key. As an option and to stay very cost effective I recommend using a cable lock like Fulton 15' Long Cable Lock part # FCLK150100 . The wires on the Putco Red Blade LED Tailgate Light Bar part # P92010-48 can be extended, I do recommend doing this for the ones between the trailer connector and module box but I don't see too big of an issue the other way around. You will need to test the wires on the brake switch above the brake pedal to locate the correct wire to attach to the brake controller red wire. The red wire is the one that tells the brake controller you are stepping on the brake pedal.

Installation of wiring harness # C56331 on any given vehicle depends on how the power wire is routed from the back of the vehicle to the front of the vehicle. It does take some time. If the tech just zip ties the wire to the bottom of the vehicle, then it should not take very long at all, definitely not 3 hours. But if he takes care in where the wire gets ran to protect it, I could see it taking that long.

The # 75579 Draw-Tite hitch uses existing bolts that are removed and then reused to install the hitch. If the bolts are currently in place, and haven't been previously used to install a hitch, they can be reused.
I do know that the rear most bolt on each side is a M10, and the other two on the driver's side and the other bolt on the passenger side is a M12. The bolts have a 12.9 level of hardness.

It sounds like your Grand Caravan is wired like the Jeep Grand Cherokee. I have confirmed this by speaking with my contact at Tekonsha.
